Ted is a forward-thinking leadership consultant and high-performance coach.
He leverages his diverse experiences as an executive coach, Ivy League lacrosse coach, 1st-Team All-American athlete, international mediator, yoga instructor, and MBA candidate to help young executives, college coaches and elite athletes attain and sustain peak performance.
As a two-year high school captain and heavily recruited lacrosse goalie, I chose to attend Wesleyan University for its strong academic reputation and the opportunity to compete at a high level. As a senior captain in 2017, I was named 1st Team All-American and led our team to a record 20-2 season, our second-ever NESCAC title, and the national semifinal—the best season in program history. What I am most proud of, however, is the championship culture we built, culminating in Wesleyan’s first National Championship in 2018.
After graduating from Wesleyan, I moved to Israel to play goalie for Team Israel's National Team and earn a master’s degree in Conflict Resolution and Mediation from Tel Aviv University, where I deepened my passion for leadership and team building. Following graduation in 2018, I began my college coaching career at Division 1 Cleveland State University, helping the Vikings achieve their first-ever winning season. During this time, I was also drafted by the Denver Outlaws in Major League Lacrosse, continuing my athletic pursuits.
After a successful year in Cleveland, I was recruited to Harvard University to help revitalize the Crimson's lacrosse program. Over four years in Cambridge, we returned Harvard Lacrosse to the national spotlight, earning a Top-10 national ranking, securing multiple wins over Top-5 programs, and reaching the NCAA tournament in 2022 for the first time in nearly a decade. We also owned the nation's highest Team GPA for the last two years of my tenure, a first for the Harvard program.
Harnessing my Never Rattled approach, these four years saw transformational change and established Harvard as a perennial lacrosse power. I also continued my playing career as a member of the Boston Cannons in Major League Lacrosse.
Driven by my passion for leadership at the highest level, I transitioned from college coaching to executive leadership coaching. I now serve as a Leadership Consultant at Spencer Stuart in Boston, where I focus on the assessment and development of C-suite executives and leadership teams. I firmly believe in the transformative power of leadership in driving organizational success, and through my work with hundreds of business leaders, I’ve seen the winning formula firsthand.
To deepen my understanding of leadership in this context, I am currently pursuing my MBA at Boston University’s Questrom School of Business.
Through the Never Rattled philosophy of positivity, discipline, resilience, and mindfulness, I guide my clients in making peak performance not just achievable, but sustainable, ensuring they can consistently lead with impact and excel in both their personal and professional lives.
